OUR SUPPORTER EXPERIENCE TEAM

Every day is different in the Supporter Experience team at Embrace the Middle East, but the one thing that remains unchanging is our passion to look after you, our loyal and faithful supporters.

Our friendly Supporter Experience team – Lauren, Sam, Natalie, and Polly – are on hand to help you. Whether you want to let us know you have changed your address, make a donation, or just need to ask us a question, we love to hear from you. And we always love to hear your news, views, and your stories.

OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

CEO: TIM LIVESEY

I joined Embrace in July 2017 from Oxfam, having previously worked in government – nearly 20 years in the Foreign Office - and politics, and as an adviser to Rowan Williams when he was Archbishop of Canterbury. Working with dedicated and talented colleagues at Embrace to support fifty Christian partners serving the most marginalised in the Middle East is a huge privilege. We care deeply about sustaining the Christian presence in the region and, specifically, supporting practical social witness aiming to transform lives.

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMES & PARTNERSHIPS: JAMIE EYRE

I lead the Programmes and Partnerships Team, working closely with our Programmes and Partnerships Managers to develop our approach to partnership and advocacy issues. I spent 12 years supporting and implementing relief and development projects in Central Asia and Africa, both as a country-based manager and at headquarters, working with the MAG (Mines Advisory Group) and Medair.

DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING: IAN LIVETT

I have worked in fundraising and marketing all my professional life including 15+ years with various faith-based community and international development causes. I joined Embrace in 2022 and lead our fundraising programme. Embrace supporters have been standing in solidarity with Christians in the Middle East through prayer, giving and action for 170 years and I feel privileged to share in their story.

DIRECTOR OF SHARED SERVICES: SAM MACKWELL

I’m responsible for a range of shared services within the organisation, ensuring the delivery and maintenance of key data and information. Before joining Embrace, I ran IT systems and provided data insights for 15 years in a range of industries.

HEAD OF HR & CULTURE: LUCY INSUA

Working collaboratively with all members of the Charity, my role at Embrace focuses on the creation of a fulfilling and inspiring work environment, where everyone’s contributions are valued in equal measure.  I began my HR career at Cancer Research UK and then spent 13 years working for an International PR agency. Prior to this I worked as a Consultant. I feel blessed to work with such an inspirational and talented team here, who work so tirelessly and selflessly for the mission of Embrace.

HEAD OF TRADING: DAN O’CALLAGHAN

My role as Head of Trading is to support the passionate Trading Team to bring a selection of Charity gifts and cards to our inspiring customers. I joined Embrace in 2022 and am proud to work for Embrace and to help support our partners changing lives in the Middle East.
