How do I begin to make a monthly donation?

Making a commitment with us is easy. Regular gifts give us the security to plan how we can best help our partner organisations in the future. Visit this page to set up a monthly gift.

How do I change the amount or frequency I donate?

  • If you donate by Direct Debit, cash, voucher or cheque call the Supporter Care Team on 01494 897950 to let us know of the changes and we will do the rest.
  • If you donate by Standing Order, tell your bank so that they can make the necessary changes. We would also appreciate you letting us know so please do contact us on 01494 897950.

How do I update my bank details?

If your bank details change, please let us know and we can send you a new Direct Debit form to fill in.

Why should I set up a Direct Debit and not a Standing Order? How do they differ?

Direct Debits are an easy and our preferred method of payment as administration costs are lower and you get the security of the Direct Debit Guarantee. Any changes that need to be made to your donation can be done by us on your behalf saving you time and effort.

To set up a Standing Order, you need to contact your bank as well as tell us of your donation. Only your bank can change your donation and administration costs are higher.

My circumstances have changed. How do I cancel my gift?

If you donate by Direct Debit and you wish to cancel, please let us know immediately as we are able to cancel as soon as possible.

If you donate by Standing Order tell your bank to cancel your donation. We would also appreciate you letting us know so please do contact us on 01494 897950.
 

I would like to be able to Gift Aid my donation?

Adding Gift Aid means your donation will increase by 25% at no extra cost to you.

We can claim Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

You can give us permission to claim Gift Aid when you set up your Direct Debit. Or you can download our Gift Aid Declaration form and return it to us, or we can send you one in the post.
