Embrace the Middle East presents an evening with Muhanad al-Qaisy of the Joint Advocacy Initiative in Beit Sahour.

Muhanad leads the Olive Tree Campaign, established to raise awareness internationally about the situation facing farmers in the Occupied Territories and to help them protect their land from confiscation.

Muhanad is an experienced and compelling presenter who has spoken at dozens of international festivals and events.

He is a Palestinian refugee from Beit Jebrin whose grandfather was forced to leave that village in 1948.

Muhanad currently lives with his family in Deheishah Refugee Camp in Bethlehem where he was born. He has a degree from Bethlehem University in Social Work and Psychology.
